RESOLUTION HONORING MICHELE "SHELLY" BAUER

RESOLUTION #02-003

WHEREAS, Shelly Bauer began her employment within the Ingham County Courts in August of 1969 as a Caseworker; and

WHEREAS, during her career she has been promoted to Senior Caseworker/Referee, to Neglect Supervisor, to Delinquency/Intake/Programs Supervisor, and Assistant Court Administrator; and

WHEREAS, in 1999 she was promoted to her current position of Family Division Administrator; and

WHEREAS, during her years of service with Ingham County, Shelly has been an effective leader and has been committed toward improving the quality of life for those she served through the court system; and

WHEREAS, as a result of her dedication and devotion to the citizens of Ingham County and through her guidance, the courts are better able to meet the needs of the public it serves; and

WHEREAS, Shelly is retiring from her position as Family Division Administrator.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby honor Shelly Bauer for her many years of dedicated service to the Ingham County Courts and the citizens of Ingham County.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board appreciates the contributions and commitment she has made to the community and wishes her continued success in her future endeavors.
